Academic Development: -

2003 � Introduction of Arts stream with B.A General Courses (Bengali & history), Certificate in Hotel Management.

2004 � Introduction of B.A (Hons) in Bengali & History, B.A (General) in Philosophy & Pol.Sc. Certificate course in Tax Management & Computer Applications.

2005 � Introduction of B.A (Hons) in Philosophy & Pol.Sc, Certificate course in Journalism & Mass Communication.

2006 � Introduction of B.A General in Geography, Certificate course in Communicative English.

2007 � Introduction of B.A (Hons) in Geography.

2008 � Introduction of B.A (Hons) in English & Sanskrit, M.A in Bengali, History, Education & English in Open & Distance Learning Mode affiliated by University of Kalyani.

Infrastructural Development: -

2003 � Construction of 2nd Floor of Main Building & Lavatory Complex attached with Main Building.

2004 � Construction of 1st Floor of Commerce Building.

2005 � Extension of the ground floor & construction of 1st floor of Library Building & Women�s Common Room.

2006 � Construction of 2nd Floor of Geography Building.

2007 & 2008 � Construction of a new four storied building for Administrative Building, Seminar Room & Girl�s Hostel.

2009 � Construction of a new two storied building for classroom, construction of Student�s Common Room, Canteen & Classroom is in progress.

OTHER ACTIVITIES: -

� Computerization of Office and Library

� Purchase of new books & equipment by Rs. 12 lakh (approx)

� Creation of New Teaching Post-7 & Non-Teaching Post-3

� NAAC ACCREDITATION in the Year 2003.
